We are delighted to announce that Imago Services at
Loughborough University has been awarded the 'Best
Use of Technology' Catey award for their use of

and related services. Stuart Wilson director of Starlogic
was with the Imago team to pick up the award at the
prestigious event held in London. Imago Services is
the first recipient of the newly created "technology
award" and Loughborough University has become the
first university to win a

StarChef.NET
helps Imago Services at Loughborough University serve
up a healthy meal to its students.
Imago Services, the team behind food and accommodation
at Loughborough University, famed for its sporting excellence,
have launched an innovative approach to providing nutritional
information to their students. Using StarChef.NET the
Imago team have carefully compiled menus for each of
the Halls of Residence and StarChef.NET has calculated
a nutritional value for each and every meal. Working
with Imago and their web design consultants, Starlogic
went about creating a link to show students visiting
the Imago site what food they could expect to see on
the menu and what the nutritional values would be, all
from the comfort of their armchairs. To see the result,
which updates automatically every day, visit the Imago
website at http://campuslife.lboro.ac.uk/.
The Imago team now have exciting plans to make even
more available to their students and Starlogic are proud
to be working with them to achieve their goals.

1.30 is released. In this latest release of StarChef
we have expanded the recipe
yield functionality. Users can now enter Total Recipe
Yield, Total Serving Yield and Uncooked weight values.
StarChef can use this information to automatically calculate
Total Recipe Yield %, Total Recipe Wastage % and Total
Wastage Amount for each dish.
We've also included a new Custom
Units feature. Now you can create your own customized
units of measurement in StarChef.
